PHICLAN MANAGEMENT
PHICLAN Management is comprised of seven Shoalhaven players undertaking their Certificate IV of Project management and Diploma in project management with mbh training. This project management team has come together to enhance the Bernie Regan hockey facility and the development of hockey within the Shoalhaven. Below is a summary of some of the major sub-projects we are developing but we continue to expand our scope of projects as we see opportunities and ideas arise.
01
Complex Development
In conjunction with Shoalhaven City Council's original master plan and approved DA, “Shoalies Hockey Club Inc.” intends to apply for funds through various grant schemes in order to deliver Stage 2 of the master plan, as follows:
2a – Amenities building
2b – Synthetic hockey field #2
With an expansion of our local hockey facility, we will have increased capacity to host hockey competitions, clinics and tournaments.
02
Inclusivity Program
We aim to increase the accessibility of hockey by offering programs that support increased participation of under represented groups in the community including people with a disability, First Nations people and Culturally and Linguistically Diverse (CALD) communities.
03
Seniors Program
Our upcoming seniors program is designed to provide a fun, social hockey competition for players over the age of 50. It also provides a low-pressure environment to run an umpire training program to continue to develop new umpires.
04
Turfways Program
The Shoalies' Turfways Program is all about working with local schools and offering a fun and exciting way to get young kids exposed to hockey.
05
Representative Pathways
Shoalies have a number of young players interested in following representative pathways. We aim to provide as much support as possible to help these athletes reach their hockey goals.
